What to expect
- Your appointment begins with a consultation to assess your skin, medical history, medications, sensitivity and treatment suitability.
- Your clinician will explain the treatment plan, expected sensation, possible risks, aftercare and alternatives before consent is obtained.
- Treatment intensity is selected according to your skin condition and may be adjusted if your skin is sensitised or not suitable on the day.
- Temporary redness, warmth, swelling, pinpoint bleeding, dryness, flaking or sensitivity can occur after treatment.
- You will be given aftercare guidance, including sun protection and temporary skincare or makeup restrictions where appropriate.
- Results vary and a course may be recommended depending on your concern, skin response and treatment goals.
