PRP
PRP uses a sample of your own blood, processed in-clinic, and may be considered where clinically appropriate. Suitability varies and a consultation is required to assess your concerns, medical history, risks, options, alternatives and expected outcomes.

What to expect
- Your appointment begins with a consultation to assess your concerns, medical history, suitability and whether PRP is clinically appropriate.
- If suitable, your clinician will explain the process, expected appointment timing, possible risks, alternatives and aftercare before consent is obtained.
- A small blood sample is collected and processed in-clinic using appropriate equipment before being used as part of the treatment process.
- Temporary redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness, dryness or sensitivity can occur, and recovery varies between clients.
- Treatment is not suitable for everyone. Medical history, medications, pregnancy, skin condition and other factors may affect suitability.
- Results vary. If a course of treatments is recommended, your clinician will explain the rationale and timing during consultation.
